Hospice

Hospice is a healthcare option for patients and families who are faced with a terminal  illness.  Hospice care believes the quality of life to be as important as the length of life.

Hospice care concentrates on managing a patient’s pain and other symptoms so that the patient may live as comfortably as possible and make the most of the time that remains.

A multi-disciplinary team works together to address the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and family.

AWESOME!!! Let me tell you from the heart and from the hip. I was born and raised in the North Texas area (McKinney,Plano,Denton). People from here are like no other anywhere else I've been. Not that we're better than anyone else, but there seems to be a bond somehow and a way of doing things that others seem to miss at times. Well, my very first contact with a Monarch employee was at the assited living community called the Ivy of McKinney. My parents had just come to the point where they had to have some full time help. Monarch sent an LVN named Sheila Holder who is hands down, far and away one of the most awesome people and healthcare givers I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She provides a level of care that is above and beyond anything I could have ever hoped for concerning my parents. My second encounter was with Lydia Kraft. She is a personal healthcare aide to my folk's and trust me when I say, better hands they could not be in. She is meticulous and nothing escapes her understanding, nor her caring. Finally, today by chance I had the pleasure of actually meeting the owner Ryan. I understand how they are such a winning team. the man made his personal cell phone number available to me and assured me any concern would be addressed post haste. What more could I ask? Yep, they are from here, and yep, it makes a difference.
